DOCK'S DOSSIER

DA BEARS!  The Bears started camp today, and yes I'm excited.  Man I can't wait for the Bears season to start already!

Things that interest me the most from Camp...

-How the OLine gels together.  Olin ok? CWill coming into his own?  RT?
-Jay Cutler running the Martz offense of course.
-If the Bears WR's can step up.  Is DA for real?
-How good this TE group really is.
-The Secondary.  Who is going to start at Safety? Tillman ok?
-DLINE - How good is Peppers? Tommie Harris injury free? Mark Anderson of old, or new? Izzy?
-LBS. Are Pisa and Urlacher ok?
-How Forte and Chester play together.
-How the rookies do

As always, I'm an optimist, so I got high hopes for this squad!  I know the schedule is tough, but I still see this team making the playoffs and making a run, if we can just get a couple of nice breaks.  CAN'T WAIT!!! GO BEARS!!!

On the Bulls front, the Heat signed Eddie House today.  I think that's a solid pickup for them, because I see a lot of teams playing zone on them next year, so he is definitely a shooter that can come in and help them.

For the Bulls, I see them going after guys like Bogans or Mason Jr., if they can't get Rudy Fernandez in a trade.  I would love to have Rudy first, but if not, I'm definitely fine with one of those two guys as well to finish off our roster.  Let's see what happens.  On a side note, the Bulls did let go of Pete Myers as assistant coach today as well.  There is word that he may be getting a front office type job, otherwise I'm sure Pete will get a job somewhere, as the players seemed to like him.

Anyways, I have to run, but here are the best articles from around the web I found today:

TMAC WORKOUT UPDATE

As you all know, TMAC worked out for one hour for the Bulls today.  Well, the Trib's KC Johnson is reporting the following on Twitter:

that TMac shot the ball well at the workout, but that he did not move fluidly at all during the workout.  I also heard that he didn't look like he was in the best of shape from some other sites.

Now I know TMAC wants to play here, and that DRose and some other fans wants TMAC here as well (DROSE maybe because they have the same agent), but I think we all need to remember for a second this isn't the old TMAC.  This is a TMAC with knee and back issues, the two worst things that a basketball player can have.

Let's see what happens, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Bulls passed on him.  Or if they do make an offer, I'm sure it will have a lot of incentives and be some kind of non garunateed deal because of his injury risks...

I'm sure we will find out soon, one way or another.  LET'S GO BULLS!

BULLS MIGHT SIGN TMAC SOON

TMAC is working out for the Bulls tomorrow.  Sources around the Web are saying that if TMAC has a good workout and passes a physical, and that if he's ok with coming off the bench, that he will become a Bull.  I honestly don't know how I feel about this right now.  I'm going to need some time to think about it.

It's a pretty high risk, high reward type signing if it happens.  On one hand, if TMAC is in anyway, shape, or form like his old self, then the Bulls will get a steal deal in signing him only for around 3 million dollars.  TMAC will also give us mad firepower on the offensive side of the ball off of the bench.  We'd have one of the best 2nd units in the game then, which would be huge.

On the other hand, TMAC might be washed up like most people are saying he is.  His D is already suspect, and he also might not like taking  a back seat and coming off of the bench in a more limited role.  This can lead to drama during the season, and we definitely don't want any of that during the season.  We definitely don't want a cancer on this young team, and we definitely don't need anyone corrupting DROSE!

Let's see what happens this week..GO BULLS!!!

Bulls Sign Kurt Thomas To 2 Year Deal

As I wrote on Twitter last night, the Bulls signed Kurt Thomas to a 2 year deal.  Sam Smith broke the signing last night on Twitter himself.

I think Thomas is a great pickup for the Bulls.  Thomas will basically just take Brad Miller's spot as a backup and mentor to Noah,  Asik, and the other bigs.  Thomas will bring in a nice veteran presence and a much needed toughness on the court.  And I know for sure he will stick up for Derrick Rose and any other Bull if something goes down, which is what we need for sure.

Look for the Bulls to now sign one more SG, and then our roster should be complete...Definitely liking the moves we made!

MARK'S KADDY KORNER - Week off heading for Scotland - by Mark Huber

The week off would have been extra fine without the waist high hay at the cabin and various doctor’s appointments. My four days at the cabin were spent mostly mowing the yard and rearranging things, not a lot of time for R&R but it was nice. Plans were to be up north for a few weeks but the call from Bob Gilder Monday changed all that. One way flight to Glasgow booked and a small car hired for the two weeks were all the plans I could make at the moment.
Travelling in the UK is fairly easy if you can stop in a pub occasionally. If you don’t have a room someone will open their house at a small B&B fee. If you need directions they may jump in your car and play like Garmin. My first trip over in 1991 an elderly lady opened her house for three caddies but after she showed us her deceased husband lying in the garage we made other arrangements for the week. That was in Gullane, Scotland next to Muirfield and my boss Larry Rinker finished eleventh in my first British Open.
Sunday we were in the last groups challenging for the lead paired with Ian Woosnam. Standing over our approach shot there was a small entourage chatting loudly directly behind us in the fairway. After a couple of polite “Quiet pleases” I finally turned and bellowed, “Would you all shut the hell up and let us play golf?” Turns out it was Prince Charles watching his fellow country man, Oops.
Hopefully it will be as profitable this week. The boys at St. Andrews struggled with the wind and Carnoustie is directly across St. Andrews Bay not more than a ten mile crow’s flight. I’ve never been to either venue but looking forward to visiting both. The week at Carnoustie will be difficult, supposedly the hardest track on the Open swing but if I get an afternoon off a trip to St. Andrews is a definite possibility. I may find the remains of Tiger and Phil strewn among the gorse.
Listening intently as the XM PGA Tour Network BBC broadcasters gleefully described their demise I found myself admiring the efforts of the gap toothed Oosthiesin, sorry nobody can spell it or pronounce it, Sunday as I finally got to watch the back nine. Louie’s life seems to be in order making golf a lot easier. With his smiling wife and six month old baby waiting by the eighteenth green he tearfully finished off the win and respectfully thanked everyone with a modest acceptance speech. Tiger won’t be in that position until everything else is in order. Golf mimics life and vice versa.
Two weeks off was nice and the boys in Mellen gave me a little crap about my cushy job. The next three weeks will be a lot of air travel, the one thing I abhor, but there should be some incredible experiences along the way. Ain’t nothing better than taking off across the Scottish countryside with only a general destination in mind.

CHICAGO BULLS 2010 SUMMER LEAGUE RECAP - by Kent McDill

Bulls finish 1-4 but see positives
By Kent McDill

The Bulls went 1-4 in the five Summer League games this season, but they did so in very interesting fashion.
In two of the losses, the Bulls led the entire game, falling behind only on the last shot of the game. Whatever the opposite of a moral victory (an immoral loss) is, those apply.

But Summer League competition isn't so much about wins and losses as it is about finding players who can help the Bulls win games down the line someday. Most Summer League players are gap-fillers, but the Bulls have some gaps to fill after stripping the roster in order to chase high-price free agents.
Several players represented themselves well in Summer League play.

John Lucas III, who played for the Houston Rockets a couple of years ago, led the team with 18.3 points per game. He missed the last two games with an ankle sprain. Forward Samardo Samuels, who averaged 12.5 points and seven rebounds and worked his way quickly into the starting lineup. Guard Morris Almond, three years removed from his college days at Rice, played off the bench in all games but averaged 11 points and led the team with 22 points in the summer league finale against Portland.  Forward Trent Plaisted, a rookie out of Brigham Young, averaged 8.3 points and 8.8 rebounds, sharing time with veteran Chris Richard. James Johnson, the second-year player who saw time in 65 games for the Bulls during the 2009-2010 regular season, played 31 minutes a game but scored just 9.5 points and had 3.8 rebounds while shooting under 31 percent from the field.

CHICAGO BULLS SUMMER LEAGUE GAME 4 RECAP - by Kent McDill

Bulls-Sacramento
By Kent McDill

Results don't really matter much in NBA Summer League play, which is a good thing as far as the Bulls are concerned. For the second consecutive night, the Bulls led the entire game only to lose on the last scoring play of the contest. This time it was a free throw by Tyrese Rice that gave Sacramento a 76-75 win over the Bulls Saturday at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. On Friday, the Bulls led the entire game only to lose to Cleveland on a 3-pointer in the final minute by Pooh Jeter. So now we know the Summer League Bulls are not a team capable of putting a game away. But we also know they are a team capable of leading a contest from start to almost finish.

In terms of players trying to earn their way onto the Bulls' October camp roster, Samardo Samuels had his second very good game. He finished with 17 points, making six of eight shots and five of seven free throws, while Matt Bouldin did an admirable job starting for guard John Lucas III, who sat the game out with an ankle injury. Bouldin finished with 12 points. Then there was Trent Plaisted, who had eight rebounds in a backup role to start Chris Richard. Bulls forward James Johnson, however, was a horrible 2-for-14 from the field and finished with 10 points.

The Bulls led 24-13 at the end of the first quarter, and Samuels had eight of those points. The Kings were four for 15 from the field in the first 10 minutes.
Sound familiar? That's the way Friday's game went. The Bulls led 44-30 at halftime, and built the lead to 15 points in the third quarter. But the lead was down to 61-53 after three quarters, and though the Bulls had a 75-68 lead late in the fourth, the Kings scored the last eight points of the game. That included the game-tying 3-pointer by Omri Casspi of Israel with 24 seconds left. The Bulls end their Summer League schedule Sunday with a game against Portland.

CHICAGO BULLS SUMMER LEAGUE GAME 3 RECAP - by Kent McDill

Cavaliers beat Bulls 81-80 on late 3-pointer
By Kent McDill

From the opening tip, the Bulls were in charge of their third Summer League game, this one against the Cleveland Cavaliers' Summer League team.  But, try as they might, in the end they could not hold on to the lead they held the entire game, losing 81-80 on a 3-pointer by Pooh Jeter with six seconds remaining. The victory gave the Cavaliers a 3-0 record in Summer League play. The Bulls are 1-2.

Samardo Samuels, a rookie out of Louisville, led the Bulls with 19 points, including the first seven points of the second half. He also contributed nine rebounds.  John Lucas III had his third good game with 15 points, and Trent Plaisted did well in a starting role at center with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

With Bulls forward Taj Gibson in the Thomas and Mack Center to watch the game, the Bulls scored the first seven points of the game, and ran out to a 25-15 lead in the first quarter. Lucas had a quick seven of those points and Plaisted started well with six points and four rebounds.

The Bulls shot 50 percent in the first quarter while the Cavaliers were held to 31 percent on the way to a 27-15 difference. But after going eight for 16 in the first quarter, the Bulls were 16 for 46 from the field the rest of the game.

Morris Almond, a former member of the Utah Jazz, scored seven quick points in the second quarter (he finished with 14 points) but the Cavaliers pecked away at the Bulls' lead and trailed 45-37 at the break. The Bulls were a surprising 19 for 23 from the free throw line at halftime.

Samuels had his breakout stretch to start the third quarter, but again the Cavaliers pulled back into the game, and the Bulls led 61-57 after three quarters. The game was eventually tied at 71, but Lucas and Almond each made one of two free throws to give the Bulls a late 80-78.

The Bulls play Sacramento Saturday night in the fourth of five Summer League games.

CHICAGO BULLS SUMMER LEAGUE GAME 2 RECAP - by Kent McDill

Bulls top Clippers 79-50 in Summer League
By Kent McDill

In a complete reversal from Tuesday night's loss to Denver, the Chicago Bulls clobbered the Los Angeles Clippers 79-50 Wednesday in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The Bulls, who lost 99-71 to the Nuggets Tuesday, led almost from the outset and cruised to victory behind the play of guard John Lucas III.

Lucas, who made the NCAA Final Four with Oklahoma State, played for the Houston Rockets a couple of years ago and has been in the Italian League and D-League since. Starting for the Bulls Wednesday, he had 14 points at halftime and finished with a game-high 25 points. He had 15 points to lead the Bulls Tuesday against Denver.  Lucas was nine for 12 from the field, including six for six from 3-point range.

The newbie Bulls, including veterans James Johnson and Chris Richard, played in front of new Clippers coach Vinny Del Negro, who was Bulls coach the last two seasons. Also in attendance was Bulls third-year guard Derrick Rose.  Surprisingly, the Bulls trailed 10-0 in the early going when they could not find a decent shot against the Clippers. Once Lucas started connecting, the game opened up for them.

The Bulls are expected to play tough defense for new coach Tom Thibodeau, who was watching the game. They apparently got the message Wednesday, holding the Clippers to 27 percent shooting (16 for 57). The Bulls, meanwhile, shot almost 52 percent from the field. Johnson, who played in 65 games and started 11 for the Bulls last season, had several good defensive efforts against the Clippers as he tries to nail down a backup forward spot for the new-look Bulls.

Off the bench, rookie Trent Plaisted from Brigham Young had 13 points and 10 rebounds against a Clippers team that did not appear ready to present any kind of challenge. Morris Almond, a forward out of Rice, had 13 points.

The Bulls outrebounded the Clippers 42-31 and held the opponent to just five assists on their 16 baskets.
The Bulls go at it again Thursday against Cleveland at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, where the temperature reached 116 degrees Wednesday.

CHICAGO BULLS SUMMER LEAGUE GAME 1 RECAP - by Kent McDill

There is something to be said for experience, even if it just a matter of days.  The Denver Nuggets, playing their fourth game of the Las Vegas Summer League series, pounded the first-timing Bulls 99-71 Tuesday. The Bulls faded after scoring just 12 points in the second quarter and trailed 54-30 at the half.

The Bulls, with second-year forward James Johnson the only player coming off an NBA season, committed 25 turnovers in the game. They will hope for a better showing Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Guard John Lucas III led the Bulls with 15 points, and Johnson had 13. Guard Matt Bouldin of Gonzaga, one of four official rookies on the Vegas roster, had eight points and four assists coming off the bench.

"It was not a good showing for us,'' Summer League coach Pete Myers told bulls.com. "In the second half we were much better. I didn't think we were going to score a lot out here, but defensively I thought we would be better."

The Nuggets, who are 4-0 in Summer League play, got 18 points from veteran Ty Lawson. They also had NBA veteran J.R. Smith on their roster as they chase the Vegas title.

Here are some players I want to keep an eye on during Summer League, to see how they do:

Derrick Byars

This kid was within an eyelash of making the regular season roster last year, so let's see how he does this time around.  By all accounts, if the Bulls had any money, Byars would have been on the team last year, but in the end, he had to be let go because of financial constraints.  This time around, we still have a need for a big 2 Guard, who can shoot the ball and defend, and Byars fits that bill nicely.  He played ball in Europe last year, so let's see if that helped his game enough to make the Bulls this year.

Morris Almond

This kid can flat out shoot and score, so he's another interesting player that the Bulls will definitely be looking at during this Summer League tryout.  He torched the DLeague last year, scoring close to 25 ppg, and he could be a pretty decent bench guy for the Bulls if he can improve other aspects of his game.  The knock on him is that he is a hog, and that he is pretty one dimensional.  Let's see how this plays out...

Matt Bouldin

My buddies and I call this kid Mushroom head because of his haircut (nh).  Anyways, the kid was sick with it in college, but there has to be a reason he didn't get drafted in the pros, even in the second round.  His jump shot wasn't that consistent and I don't think he has enough speed to keep up on the defensive side of the ball in the League.

John Lucas III/ Jack McClinton

The Bulls do need a backup PG, so I will be watching both these guys closely.  Lucas III and McClinton are both pretty good shooters and they both have speed.  McClinton was drafted by the Spurs, and we all know that those players usually turn out just fine.  Let's see how they run point during summer league.

Jerel McNeal

Marquette represent!  I was pretty surprised that Jerel didn't get drafted last year.  I watched him play pretty much every game in College, and the kid is a solid basketball player.  Unfortunately, in the end, he is still 6'3.  He isn't a NBA PG, and he is pretty small to be a SG.  Hopefully he can work hard, prove his worth, and get onto the Bulls or some other NBA squad like his buddy and fellow teammate at Marquette Wes M did...

Ogilvy

This kid was a beast in college, and I remember him being mentioned as a first rounder just a few years ago.  Wow, how the times have changed. He just seems to slow and too weak to compete as a big in the NBA day in and day out, but let's see how he does.

Samardo Samuels

Samardo is a tweener...they say he has no true position in the NBA, because he is undersized.  The kid was a blue chip recruit out of HS though, so you never know.  I also have a bet with a buddy that Samardo doesn't make the opening day roster, so I will definitely be keeping an eye on him throughout summer league.

Chris Richard

He filled in nicely last year when the Bulls were hit with injuries, so I'm just interested in seeing if he has gotten any better this year.

James Johnson

I'm still not giving up on James Johnson just yet. At first, I was pretty disappointed in the kid and his game, but at the end of the year when we were hit with a bunch of injuries, we got to see Johnson log a ton of minutes.  And when he played a lot, he surprisingly played really well.  He showed me a lot of flashes and strung together a bunch of nice games towards the end of the season.  This year he looks a lot more in shape and word around the team is that he lost 20-30 pounds and has been working out hard. I'm glad he is on the summer league roster, and I can't wait to see how he has improved on the court.

That's about it with the Summer League stuff. On a side note, the Bulls finally signed Omer Asik today.  I've been waiting for this kid to come play for a while now, so I'm glad we finally got him signed.  He seems like another Noah type of baller, can rebound, defend, swat shots, which would definitely help the team and give us depth off of the bench.  To have him, Taj Gibson, and maybe a resigned Brad Miller off the bench would make our bigs pretty money if you ask me.  Let's see how he does, but again, I'm definitely excited he is finally coming to play!  I still am working on my writeup about the Bulls free agent pickups from the past week, so bear with me, and check back later this week for that post.

Lastly, we here at DSS are going to be lucky enough to have Kent McDill writing about the Bulls Summer League for us.  Kent is going to do some quick recaps of each of the Bulls Summer League games.  If you are a long time Bulls fan or a die-hard Bulls fan, then you will remember Kent back from the Herald in the Golden days. I've always been a big fan of his, and I've been able to get him to write for us for this week.  I'm hyped...I will be putting up his recap shortly...As always, thanks for stopping by and Go BULLS!

MARK'S KADDY KORNER - by Mark Huber

Hey all,
A week off after six weeks on the road is close to heaven. I realize folks think all the travel is glamorous, fun and exciting but after twenty years it gets old, painful at times, and quite boring. The tournaments get me fired up, all the rest of the stuff you can have.  Walking inside the ropes helps with my sanity out here. Let’s see, it was Denver, Des Moines, Springfield, IL, Atlantic City, Rochester and Toledo during that six week stretch with a couple days off here and there.
The schedule for the rest of the year took shape this week; I spent a lot of time on the telephone. Jim Roy called me to work Minneapolis in August, Doug Tewell wants my services for four weeks in September and October, Misun Cho asked about finishing out the year with her so it looks like I’m booked up after the first of August. As of Saturday I wasn’t heading over the pond for the British Opens but that could change.
After spending the week trying to find work for the Senior British, I must have made at least twenty calls; I let Misun know caddying the Women’s British wasn’t a good financial deal for me. Two weeks, two tournaments, and two players splitting my airfare was the only way I was going over so I talked with her Saturday explaining the situation. She was disappointed but understood.
It was all about networking this week so I moseyed down to the Quad Cities Thursday, caught the tail end of Paul Goydos’ 59 at the John Deere Classic, talked with my old buddies and did a little job hunting. Jobs are scarce out there, a couple of lifers were unemployed in the parking lot and I didn’t recognize a lot of faces on the range. It was my first PGA event of the year and I felt like a stranger.
Leaving the range late that afternoon Goydos was hitting balls all by himself with his caddy, Mike Mazziati, a Wisconsin boy recently fired by Jeff Overton. Luck changes in a hurry on the tour, you just have to be there grinding it out every day. A handful of people, surprised he was practicing after firing a 59, were watching. Knowing Goydos he probably thought you can’t let a 59 get in the way of work. Mike told me the last few months they had missed a bunch of cuts but they kept at their routine knowing their good stretch would come.
I bumped into my old buddy D.J. Gregory. He’s still walking every round raising money for disabled children despite his Cerebral Palsy handicap. Different players pledge so much per birdie for his Walking for Kids Foundation (www.walkingforkids.org) and D.J. spends all day cheering them on. It’s really hard to complain about life, and golf, when he’s around.
All the networking done it will be time for the cabin next week and maybe the rest of the month.
Wait a minute. Just got a phone call from Bob Gilder while writing KK Monday this morning, he wants me to work the Senior British Open. Misun still wants me for the Women’s British so I‘m off to Glasgow Sunday on a one-way ticket with two week rental car. I’ll worry about a place to stay when I get there. Usually the folks over there will always find you a B&B and it’s been awhile since I’ve stayed in a hostel. This trip could get interesting.
Take care.

SORRY

Hey guys, thanks for checking out the site. I just wanted to take a quick second and say sorry for being MIA on the blog tip. I was actually in Vegas last week for a bachelor party, and then we had our National Indo Pak Basketball tournament that I was played in and helped to organize.

Anyways, this week I will definitely cover the Bulls Free Agent pickups and LeClown's decision to become a minion for life. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I'll talk to you guys soon...

MARK'S KADDY KORNER - Jamie Farr Classic - Toledo, OH - by Mark Huber

Hey all,
A weekend off was kind of what I needed, it had been awhile since I worked five straight weeks. “Mighty” Misun Cho, all 5’ 2’’ and 110 pounds wanted me to meet her Monday morning before the pro-am for a little practice. I skirted the tornadoes and nasty weather driving from Chicago to Toledo Sunday evening and checked into the lovely Knight’s Inn about 20 minutes from Highland Meadows in Sylvania.
Jamie Farr has been hosting the LPGA for thirty years in the Toledo area but the tournament has seen its better days. The crowds still turn out but the players don’t, it’s one of the weakest fields of the year even though contested on a fantastic old track, tight narrow fairways crisscrossing a stream and lined with a variety of pines, oaks, and maples. I’m not sure who the architect was but he studied Donald Ross for sure. When you left a green the tee box was close by.
Misun and her mother were waiting for me under the shade tree by the putting green. Both were smiling and ready to get going, thank god there was no Korean father to deal with. Misun spent her teenage years in Australia and her English was excellent, she even knew a few choice words and politely asked if it was okay if she swore once in awhile. We hit it off right away, spent the morning practicing and played a junior pro-am scramble with four high school girls that afternoon. It was a long day for a Monday but quite enjoyable.
Highland Meadows is surrounded by a middle class community, the lawn parties are everywhere, spectators parking their cars on local lawns for $5-$10, and the streets are packed with folks heading for the tournament. Across from the main entrance Tracy fills his yard with about 100 cars a day and hosts the caddies, volunteers, security guards and anyone who wonders in off the street. He’s always has his grill going, beverages iced down, and a raucous smile. For a small donation you can get a breakfast sandwich before the round and a cheeseburger later in the day. A couple of caddies shacked up in his basement and it was pretty much “caddy central” for the week. The local folks really support the event, make a few bucks on the side, and donate a bit to charity, it’s nice to see.
Misun’s a tour rookie qualifying off the Duramed Futures Tour last year finishing third and she’s been working with Phil Ritson from Orlando. Her game is real strong until she gets to within three feet of the hole. She’s not very long off the tee but accurate, precise with her irons, however the four to five inches between her ears cause problems with the three foot putts. We worked extensively all week using a chalk line and I introduced her to Ron Stockton, a short game guru working with Morgan Pressel. His dad, Dave, is probably one of the top five putters of all time and works with Phil Mickelson among others.
The introduction was pure fate. As I was talking with Misun about putting asking her if she worked with anyone, Ron walked onto the practice green. We’ve been friends for awhile and he was glad to help. The 15-20 minute session was very productive, hopefully it will lead to something special for both of them, she could sure use the help and Ron loves developing young players.
We missed a four-footer for birdie on the first hole but managed a birdie a few holes later. The kid’s a battler, every time we made bogey she came back with a quick birdie and we shot two under. She birdied every par five even though way behind her playing partners off the tee. Friday she struggled but birdied the last hole. The cut was even par and her three under left her tied for 32nd but even better in a Saturday play-off for a British Open spot.
I decided not to tell her about the play-off and after we shot -1 one I broke the news. At first she was noticeably upset I hadn’t told her but soon figured it was better, the pressure may have been too much. I called her while she was having lunch in the clubhouse, she let out a shriek, and came running on to the putting green five minutes later giving me a big hug.
Sunday’s round was anticlimactic; we struggled a bit while our playing partner I Y Park shot a smooth 64. Misun birdied the last hole finishing -5 and a decent week. We discussed the British Open after the round. If the money’s right and the flight isn’t too expensive it looks like I’m heading to Royal Birkdale later this month. Maybe I’ll squeeze in the Senior British the week before. Things sure can change quickly out here; this all came about from a haphazard conversation last week at the player-caddy bowling tournament.
Take care.
