Eddie Murray joined the 3,000 hit club 15 years ago with a single to right field off Minnesota pitcher Mike Trombley, June 30, 1995.

Though best known as a Baltimore Oriole, Murray garnered hit number 3,000 playing for Cleveland, thus becoming the third man to reach the 3,000-hit plateau while wearing an Indians uniform (Nap Lajoie and Tris Speaker are the other two). Murray also joined Pete Rose as the only switch-hitters in the Club.
