Right now is an exciting time for this franchise, as they have become a powerhouse in the NHL. So what can you expect from me? Here come the 'Hawks! Playing even stronger this season, your Chicago Blackhawks are on pace to make the playoffs. If you are living in Chicago, then there is no reason why you haven't heard the noise this team is making. A few years back the Hawks were dubbed the Worst NHL franchise by ESPN. Now, they are one of the hottest franchises in the sport, reborn to win.

Last year, they fell short of making the Stanley Cup, but gained respect and experience. This year many of the big name players are still intact. Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp, Jonathan Toews, and Duncan Keith are together leading the stat sheet this year. Kane, by far the best player, leads the team in both goals and assists.

After a long road trip in January, grinding out a 5-3 road record over 16 days, the Hawks are happy to be home in February. They just lost to the Blues last Wednesday, but their home record is still a strong 21-6-1. This month should look good as 3 of the 5 games being played will be at home.

So support your team! This team is young and will be around for a while. The Hawks have not won the Stanley Cup since 1961. Let's help them bring the Cup back to Chicago by lending our support.
