STONE COLD LEAD PIPE DOCKS - PLAYOFF EDITION

Suman's Pix:
(Last Week 3-1)
(Overall 53-40-2)

Jets +8 (bought hook)
I don't think Peyton Manning loses this game. However, I think the Jets have the recipe to keep this game close: a ball control offense, a stout defense, a shutdown DB to guard Reggie Wayne, and a ballsy coach. I think the Colts are smart enough to move Wayne around so he won't be shut out by Revis, but they still need someone else to step up. On the other hand, I don't think the Jets are good enough on offense where the Sanchise can just put up a '00 Dilfer type effort and expect to win. He'll have to make plays. Remember the last time these 2 teams played the Jets looked like garbage. My guess is that he does make a few plays, and the Jets make this interesting.

Saints -3 (bought hook)
I don't care what anyone says... Nobody knows what will happen in this game. It's impossible to predict. These 2 teams are nearly identical. How will the health of Harvin and Shockey affect the game? I don't know. No point in breaking this game down, so I'll just the team that had the most dominating performances of any team during the regular season IMO. Favre will look dumb with his pants on the ground, and Drew Brees will vault into household name status.

Colts -8

Its been a nice ride for the Jets, they have stepped up and player great thus far, but it ends in Indy. Peyton Manning will be surgical with the football and get them off to an ealy lead. Then look for Mathis and Freeney to go buck wild. Colts on their way to Miami. Indy by 10

Saint (-3)
Drew Brees, SuperDome, Kim Kardashian. Too much emotion and too much talent in the Big Easy for the Vikings. This one is going to be ugly. Saints by 14.

Jets +8
Rex Ryan D's usually do well vs Peyton. I see Revis shutting down Wayne in this one and making it tough for Peyton with different blitzes and looks. I also think the Jets can pound the Colts on the ground too, and at least keep this close. I see the Colts squeezing out a late victory in this one, so I will take the points.

Saints -3
This game is a complete toss up. These are probably the two best offenses right now, and it's going to come down to who has the ball last. That being said I will give the edge to the Saints, who will be playing at home in what might be the craziest atmosphere we have seen in a sporting event. The city needs this and I think Brees and Payton come through. Look for Sharper to make a play and look for the Saints D to slow down Favre just a little bit, to pull this one out. I think this game is going to be a classic, kinda like the Cards Packers was in the first round. I will be rooting for the Saints, they deserve it!
