Before tonight's game, Derrick Rose pledged to donate one thousand dollars for every point he scored vs the Suns towards Haiti relief.
"It means a lot to me to help out," Rose said. "That situation is part of all of us, the world period. It makes you feel good to donate and help others. I'm a caring guy so that's something that really hurt me."
Well Rose must be really caring, because when it was all said and done, Derrick finished with 32 points, which is 32 thousand dollars going towards relief. That is amazing!
Great job Derrick! Not only are you a sick baller, but a great person as well.
