(Overall 7-2-1)
Rams +10
I know everyone is going to laugh at this pick, because the Rams are so terrible, and maybe getting married is making my mind play tricks on me, but I think the Rams keep this game close. I watched their entire game vs the Vikings last week, and they were able to move the ball at will. Their only problem last week was that every time they got to the red zone, they became the uhhh RAMS MAN, and fumbled or threw picks, and made bone headed plays. That happened against the Vikings, who have a hot defense right now. Now even though the Jags are at home and want to hit someone after getting humiliated on the road at Seattle, I think their defense lets them down in this one. They are one of the the worst pash rushing team in the NFL, they give up the 4th most passing TD's, their CB Mathis is out, and their LB's are hurt. Now I know the Rams are not a Juggernaut offense, but they do have some weapons in SJAX and Donnie Avery, and I see SJAX getting his first touchdown of the season vs the Jags. Also with Bulger back, look for him to get the ball to Donnie Avery often today. Last week once he got into the game, him and Avery connected on multiple occasions, and because the Jags have no pass rush, Bulger will be able to sit in the pocket, and take his chances down the field with Avery. I know Bulger has regressed a lot over the past few years, but that is because he has been running for his life because his OLINE was so terrible. The OLINE has improved, and again, the JAGS have no pass rush, and when Bulger gets time and is not on the move, he is still a very capable QB. Lastly I know the Rams are like the new Lions, who haven't won a game in forever, but when I watched them play last weekend, they were still trying and hadn't given up yet. Because of these reasons, I will take the points in this one...
Chiefs +7
Until the Skins prove to me that they are good enough to give an entire TD to someone, I am going to take a team like the Chiefs vs them all day. The Chiefs keep games close, and even though they aren't the overall best football team, they do have some talent on the squad. More importantly, they are still trying to win. I don't think you can say the same about the Skins, who virtually look dead out there. They have a lame duck coach in my opinion, and the players don't even look like they want to win a game for the guy. They gift wrapped the Panthers the game last weekend, and they have been doing that all year long. Their starting LT Chris Samuels is out, and they are plugging in an undrafted LT in his place. Not good my friends. This probably means they will keep their best offensive weapon in Chris Cooley on the line to help block. For a team lacking offensive weapons, this is huge. On the KC side of things, Cass is starting to play a lot better, and you could see him gaining some confidence in Dallas last weekend. Him and Bowe finally started connecting at the end of the game, so they should be able to do the same thing this weekend, vs a weak secondary. They will run some no huddle offense, and get Haynesworth tired, and make him ineffective. Their should also be some bad weather that comes into play today, with some fore casted rain and win. And, I don't see how there will be a home field advantage here, with the Skins getting booed in their own stadium. With all of that, and the Skins just being a terrible team, I will take the 7 pts...
Panthers -3
I'm thinking the Panthers come from behind Win last weekend gives them some confidence going into this game. TB is 28th against the run, and the running game is what the Panthers do best. They have two strong RB's, and a very huge offensive line as opposed to the Bucs, who have a very small defensive front, so this plays into the Panthers hands for this game. Also, TB gives up big plays on defense, so look for Steve Smith to get a TD today off a play action, after the Panthers start off pounding the ball on the ground. TB on the other hand are still going through the bumps and bruises of a rookie QB, and even though he has shown a few flashes out there, I still don't think he is ready to pull out this W. With Antonio Bryant still not looking like himself, I just don't see them having any weapons on the offensive side of the ball other than Winslow, and that guy is one of the most inconsistent players in football. The Panthers know they need a win badly, and I see them pulling this game out in the 2nd half, after their running game wears out the Bucs...
Jets -9
The Jets and their coach Rex Ryan are fuming after their loss on MNF vs the Fins. Rex Ryan called their defense an embarrassment and they are looking to send a message this week. Who comes into town? The garbage Bills, which imo, is the perfect recipe for a waxing. The Jets will put Revis on TO, and shut him out of the game. Their D will be fired up, but the Bills don't really even have any other weapons to contend with these Jets. Their QB and Coach are lost, and they couldn't even win at home vs the Browns after the Browns QB completed only 2 passes. How are they going to go in and even keep this game close vs the JETS? The Bills also have a terrible, and small OLINE, which will get eaten up today vs this DLINE. The Jets OLINE AND DLINE will dominate this game on both sides of the ball. I see them pounding the rock with Thomas Jones and Leon Washington. This will open things up for Sanchez in the second half, and look for him to get BEdwards the rock down the field later in the game too. I think this the Jets win this game by two tds, at the least...
Pats -9
Tom Brady and BChucky are mad, and that is usually not a good combo for opposing teams. The Pats return home after blowing that game last weekend vs the Broncos, and they will be looking to stomp these helpless Titans to send a message. Brady had a ton of WR's open last weekend, but played unBrady like, and missed a ton of easy passes. I know he will check out film and bounce back strong this week, and it doesn't hurt that the Titans have no one on defense. They have rookie CB's and with a ton of their players hurt, a bunch of no namers on the depth chart. I mean they picked up Rod Hood for God's sake. We saw Manning light them up last week, and look for Brady to do the same today. They will spread the ball out, and Brady will hit everyone all over the place. If the Titans were going to win a game, it was going to be last weekend. With the VY experiment starting up again, I just don't see them keeping this one close...

(Overall 17-10)
Jaguars -9.5
The Jaguars were awful last week. Mike Sims-Walker killed my fantasy team when he got suspended for the week, and it wasn't announced until 30 minutes before the 4pm kickoff. Still pissed off. And MJD popped off in the media this week about how the Jags offense sucks. So I expect some fire from these guys this week when they return home to play the lowly Rams. Sims-Walker is back in the lineup and should add some vertical pop to the team. MJD just seems like a dude that backs it up when he says some shit like what he said. And once again, the Rams are lowly. Really lowly. Bulger, Boller, it doesn't matter I think the Jags will smoke em this week.
Chiefs +6.5
Wow there are like 4 or 5 games this week that nobody will probably watch. Like 1,000 people in the entire world will watch these games. This is one of them. I'll take the points here as the Redskins haven't beat anybody convincingly yet this year. Matt Cassell looked decent last week against the Cowboys, so I think he'll be able to handle the 'Skins too. I'm getting aggravated just thinking about this game, lets just move on...
Packers -13.5
Pretty simple the Lions don't have a healthy Calvin Johnson. GB is coming off a bye week and a humiliating loss in Minnesota. If the Packers want to be taken seriously as a contender they'll bury Detroit by 3 Tds.
Eagles -14
I'm going to keep picking the good team whenever the truly good 4 or 5 teams in the league play one of the 4 or 5 shitty ones. The Eagles are good, and the Raiders suck. Keep it simple stupid. Eli Manning torched the Raiders secondary last week in one half of play. I think McNabb and eventually Kevin Kolb will do the same thing this week. Jamarcus Russell has overtaken the Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn combo as worst QB in the league. Man this guy is just terrible. He is so bad at what he does in life. But the thing is he will have made $20 million more than I will in my entire life, even though I'm probably better at what I do than he is at what he does. I dunno. The universe is a weird creature.
Patriots -9.5
I obviously don't see the Patriots losing 2 weeks in a row. They return home from a tough trip to Denver, but I see them destroying the Titans here. Especially if Vince Young sees the light of day. Peyton Manning and every other QB that has played the Titans has picked that secondary apart, so I see Tom Brady doing the same thing. Who would have thought that the Titans would have be staring 0-6 in the face right now??? Not me. Maybe Albert Haynesworth was the MVP of the league last year...

Ravens +3
The battle of the purple jerseys, the Ravens versus the Vikings. The Vikings are coming off impressive wins over the Packers and then the Rams during their short week last week. They are riding high off the play of Brett Favre and Jared Allen. This game will be a true test of where they really stand. The Ravens are coming off back to back losses and are spiraling a little bit. The early season potent offense has not been clicking the last couple of weeks. Look for that to change in this game. Their running attack will make the ultra aggressive Vikings pass rush pay. Look for the Ravens to run off their left tackle all day to keep Allen honest. Ravens by 4...
Patriots -9
Tom Brady is pissed….Bellicheck is pissed…….Moss has been quiet…….Tennessee has no pass defense. This one going to get UGLY!!!
Eagles-14
This line is ridiculous but that’s how bad these Raiders are. I don’t see how they are going stop the Eagles or score on the Eagles. This one may be over by halftime. Sam Bradford, what you think of Oakland, player?
Chargers-3.5
Big division match up right here. If the Broncos win this one, you can kiss the division goodbye San Diego. With that being said, the Broncos have been stellar at home, let’s see what they can do in a hostile environment, on the road, in a division game. My feelings are that a determined Charger team will be ready for them. Chargers by 7.
Cardinals +3
Seattle got a shot in the arm with their QB, Matt Hasslebeck coming back against the Jaguars last weekend. S laid a whopping on them. But this division matchup will be much more competitive. The Cardinals have a offensive attack that is potent and will give the Seahawk defense fits. The question is can the Cardinals D hold up against a revitalized Seahawk offense? In the end I think Warner, Fitzy, and Boldin will be too much for the Seahawks.
