The Greater Chicago Food Depository is launching a public awareness campaign to celebrate its 30th anniversary of serving the hungry in the Chicago area. The focus - "Helping the Hungry for 30 Years" - is to thank those who have contributed to Chicago's food bank and raise awareness of the continuing need in Chicago and Cook County.
DRose will be one of many famous people that will be appearing in the ads for the GCFD. I'm glad they chose DRose as one of their representatives for this campaign. Hopefully having DRose as a rep will get some younger Chicagoans to go out and help the GCFD in any way they can, which includes volunteering. After going to this link, I for one will definitely be looking into helping out the GFCD in some way or another.
