(Last Week 2-3)
(Overall 16-23-1)
Packers at Vikings (Packers +3 bought hook) - Don't like either team as they play in the division against the bears…but this weeks game is going to be a traditional NFC North war. Adrian Peterson versus the Packer defense will decide the game. We know what Aaron Rodgers can do with that offense; the key is whether Green bay can contain AP. I think the Packers go into Minnesota and take care of business setting up a huge game the following week against the Bears. Packer 24-17
Bills at Patriots (Pats -3 bought hook) – How can we bet against the Patriots on the week of the election? Seriously how can you? If that is not reason enough to take the Pats Buffalo is finally coming back to earth after a great start. The Bills are struggling in the division and the patriots at home are not a walk in the park. Patriots by 10….. 27-17
Ravens at Texans- (Ravens pk em) – The Ravens are too much on defense. They are fierce intimidating and nasty. Houston without Matt Schaub is not nearly as effective or as potent in my opinion…call it name brand power. Joe Flacco comes and gets a huge road win against a maddening Texans team. Ravens 20-13
Giants at Eagles ( Giants + 3) – The Giants are the best team in football at the moment. Eli & Co. are consistent on both sides of the ball. The Eagles are up and down as usual but seems to play big during big games. Look for this game to be close and down to the wire..and as much as I hate to do it I am going against my guy from Chicago D-McNabb and picking the Giants. Just too balanced and too much swag…… Giants 20-14
Saints at Falcons- (Saints +1) - Huge division game here. Matt Ryan is in the thick of a playoff race and is going up against an experienced Saints team. Atlanta will look to set up the play action with a steady dose of the run…and how effective they are with this will determine the game. We know Drew Brees is ridiculous with the offense; the only defense really is to keep him off the field. I don't se this happening this week unfortunately……..Saints will go into HOT-Lanta and take care of business. Saints 31-17

(Last week 4-1)
(Overall 24-14-1)
Chiefs at Chargers (Chiefs +15) - A lot of people are on the other side of this bet, but I am loving the Chiefs in this game. Until the Chargers can prove to me that they are the once dominant team they were, I will keep betting against them with these high spreads. Their weakness has been their defense all season long, and I don't see that changing in just one week. They can't get any pass rush on the opposing QB's and they are last in the league in past defense. I know the Cheifs have Tyler Thigpen back there, but he did just fine last weekend. And if that Chiefs offense could rip through a solid TB defense, I like their odds in this one. I'm not saying they are going to win the game, but I do think they can do just enough to cover here. They have not given up at all, all season long, and I don't look for them to give up in this one. They play hard week in and week out, and that will continue vs the Chargers. I will take the pts...
Bills at Pats (Pats -3 bought hook) - Here is a case of two teams headed in two completely different directions. The Bills who started out smoking, are struggling now, even losing at home. The Pats who started out struggling because of Brady going down, are finally playing much better football now. Buffalo is obviously a better football team at home, and that is why I see them going into NE at the wrong time now. They are also missing a ton of starters in this game. They will be missing their best pass rusher in Aaron Schobel, then their starting strong safety and nickelback, also their starting right guard, and one of their WR threats in Josh Reed. This is huge for a team that pulls out close wins usually. The Pats on the other hand, are hitting their stride right now. Yes they lost to the Colts, but they had a ton of chances to win that game. Hoody is putting Cassel in a position to be successful, and he is taking advantage of it. And, the Pats running game is always solid, no matter who is back there, so look for them to come out of the gates in this one. The Pats really need this game in order to win the division, so look for the Hoody monster to be at his best. I'll give the pts..
SHawks at Dolphins (Fins - 7 bought hook) - I'm loving the Fins in this game. It seems like the Hawks have given up on this season. I'll be honest with you guys, I've never seen a SHawks team like this. I'm always used to them coasting through the NFC West, and winning the division. We are used to their Qb torching D's and Holmgren outsmarting people to win games. That definitely isn't the case in this year. Injuries have killed them all season long, and it doesn't get any better this weekend. They still roll with Seneca Wallace again at the helm, and that is going to be bad news for them. Look for the Fins to just stop the run and crowd the box in this game. That means Seneca Wallace has to step up vs this much improved Fins D, and I just don't see that happening. On the other hand, the Fins are playing great football right now. They are coming off of two great wins over Buffalo and the Broncos, and are riding high. I don't think their coaches and org will let them chill in this one, especially because they need to win this game badly to stay in the division title hunt. Look for them to pound the ball, and look for Pennington to be highly effective in this game like he has been all year long. The Hawks pass D is suspect and look for Pennington to find Greg C all day in this game. The Fins win this game by at least 2 TD's.
Niners at Cards (Cards -9) - This is going to be an ugly game. The Cards are seriously going to get their roll on in this one. I applaud Samurai Mike for what he is trying to do in Ninerville, but unfortunately for him, the talent on his squad just doesn't compare to the Cards in this game. Gore is awesome, but the rest of that offense is in shambles. They will be starting a new QB, on the road, vs a surprisingly opportunistic defense in this game. That equals bad news for the Niners in this game. Now we all know the Cards offense is for real and they are one of the most prolific offenses in the game. What do you guys think they are going to do this week in a division game, on MNF, in the spotlight, vs a weak Niners team? That's right, get their roll on!! (These get their roll on references are for Mr. CPepper making the start this week for the Lions). I just don't see how the Niners can keep up in this game. The Cards D has been stepping up, and I look for that to be the key difference in this game. Give the pts in this one..
Panthers at Raiders (Panthers - 8 bought hook) - I know the Panthers are on the road, and the Raiders generally play better at home, but I don't know how I can pass up this game. Again I hate taking this many favorites in a week, but I'm loving the Panthers to get their roll on in this game!!! The Raiders are starting who at QB now vs this Panthers defense? And with their starting Qb they couldn't move the ball last week, so what are they going to do this weekend with their backup vs this Panthers defense? The Panthers need to win this game to stay in their divisional title hunt, so they can't take this game off for sure. JStewart and Deangelo W are going to be wayyy to much for the Raiders to handle, and Steve Smith is honestly going to have a field day in this game. Look for the Panthers to keep their winning ways rolling, anchored by their defense in this game.
Gluck playaz!!!
