1. Titans (10-0) : Jacksonville dominated in the first half and dared Kerry Collins to beat them over the air. Once again, Kerry Collins delivered with two picturesque long balls to Justin Gage. One more win and we might have our first ever 11-0 v. 0-11 matchup. (SS)
2. Giants (9-1): They showed once again why they are the most complete team in the league. Excellent running game? Check. Excellent run defense? Check. Mistake-free QB play? Check. Ball hawking pass defense? Check. However, they will be tested against MVP-candidate Kurt Warner and the best WR duo in the league. (SS)
3. Panthers (8-2) - The Panthers took care of business last week vs the lowly Lions, but this weekend comes their first real test in a while. They play the surprising Falcons on the road, and if they can win this game, they should definitely lock up their division. The Panthers have been great at home but streaky on the road, so it will be interesting to see which Panthers team shows up in this game. (VC)
4. Steelers (7-3) - Solid defensive victory to put them back on track. We (as well as the Steelers) get an early treat watching them play the Bengals Thursday night. The long rest thereafter should have them primed and ready to go against New England. (CK)
5. Jets (7-3) - Brett Favre is smoking and if the team can overcome 400 yard, 3 touchdown performances from other quarterbacks, the Jets may have a little bit of the "it" factor that you need to advance in the postseason. The Pats game was an instant classic and if the Jets get this kind of balance on offense as we move along in December, this is going to be a scary team. (RK)
6. Buccaneers (7-3) - Tampa Bay won a huge game last weekend vs the Vikings at home. Their defense bailed them out like usual, and they won in typical Bucs fashion. This week they play the hapless Lions on the road, but next week they have a huge divisional showdown vs the Saints. They better not look past the winless Lions this weekend though, otherwise they might become the laughing stock of the league. (VC)
7. Cardinals (7-3) - The numbers are sickening, and it makes you double take making sure there's no typos. They are hot right now, and add another hard earned victory after beating Seattle last wknd. There will be fireworks as the high octane Cardinal O invites the stingy hard-nosed NYG D. THis game will show us how "real" the Cards are.(CK)
8. Colts (6-4) - Peyton Manning had a "Manning" game but as I keep harping on since early season, this run defense will not allow this team to do a lot of damage should they make the playoffs. It was nice to see Marvin Harrison get back in the mix after such a shaky season so far. (RK)
9. Patriots (6-4): They keep being competitive despite injury after injury. Just shows you how good their front office really is. William Clay Ford Sr. (Owner of the Detroit Lions) needs to drive a truckload full of cash to Boston and dump it on Scott Pioli's front yard. (SS)
10. Redskins (6-4): Their hot start may have been a facade. I am not at all impressed with Jason Campbell's play. They will be lucky to make the playoffs with a tough schedule coming up. (SS)
11. Cowboys (6-4) - The Boys are back! Getting Romo back is huge for this Boys squad, that won a big division game last weekend vs the Skins. Romo's swagger and confidence spills over to everyone on this squad, and I don't think anyone wants to see this team in the playoffs. I definitely think they are going to make a nice run in these last 6 games, so watch out. (VC)
12. Dolphins (6-4) - Miami is one of the most surprising teams in the NFL this year. They have pulled out the Wildcat, and some great wins in their first 10 games. This weekend they get a pissed off Pats team, which might be bad news. But, if they can pull out a W in this game, I really think they have a good chance at making the playoffs. Let's see how it pans out. (VC)
13. Ravens (6-4) - A crushing and embarrassing defeat to NYG may have been enough to de-rail this team for the rest of the season. They have a big opportunity to bounce back at home vs Philly this wknd, but if Jacobs did that last week, what will Westbrook do this week? (CK)
14. Falcons (6-4) - A hard one to swallow last wknd losing against Denver, esp w/ a tough game this week vs division rival Carolina. This is crunch time for the Falcons, the kid has a huge opportunity to become the face and leader of this franchise right now. (CK)
15. Broncos (6-4) - Denver picked up a good win against a good opponent but what has happened to Jay Cutler? This guy was on pace for like 50 touchdowns and you would think with a lack of running game he would keep gunning. Though they play in a week division, this team is not far enough in front of the Chargers to take things easy yet. I don't see the winner of this division getting very far in the playoffs.(RK)
16. Packers (5-5) - Well that was fun!! The Pack out-muscled the Bears on both sides of the ball and it looks like Ryan Grant is starting to hit his stride. He has had three very good games against three very good rushing defenses in the past three weeks. I don't think the Bears are a 34 point worse of a team, but this display showed what the Packers are capable of when all cylinders are clicking. Remember, this team was 13-3 last year and though Brett is gone, AR is playing well. (RK)
17. Eagles (5-4-1): A veteran like Donovan McNabb cannot have games like he did Sunday against the Bengals. Not acceptable, especially when his team's playoffs hopes are hanging by a thread. Finally, Donovan needs to take time to study the NFL rules instead of spending his free time memorizing the ingredients to every Campbell's soup brand. (SS)
18. Saints (5-5): A tough 3-game home stretch coming up (Packers, Bucs, and Falcons). They need to win all 3 to even have a chance at the playoffs. I don't see it happening. Do you? (SS)
19. Bears (5-5) - The Bears got their as#ses whooped last weekend, plain and simple. I was at the game, and it was one of the most disappointing experiences of my life. If they don't turn this ship around soon, heads need to roll. But the crazy thing is, at 5-5 and with 6 games left, somehow this team still has a chance to win the division and make the playoffs. They get a Ram teams this weekend that looks dead, so maybe they can get some of their confidence back with a W on Sunday.
20. Vikings (5-5) - The Vikings missed a huge chance last weekend vs the Bucs to take over first place in the NFC North. They now have to travel to play another physical team in the Jags this weekend. If they want to keep their playoff hopes alive, they need a big road W Sunday. I still don't understand why they don't give APETE the ball even more. Look for him to try to put them on his back for the remainder of the season.
21. Bills (5-5) - What a nosedive into the ground this team took. After Trent Edwards was a fringe MVP candidate early in the season, his play has fallen off as bad as anyone in the league. His confidence is clearly shook and was easily surmised by him dumping the ball off to M. Lynch for 10 on his 16 completions in the Cleveland game. There is an outside chance the Bills can turn it around in time, but I don't see the team they put on the field capable of such a shift in play right now. I won't jump on the "wide right" cliches this week. (RK)
22. Chargers (4-6). I cannot seem to pinpoint where this team went wrong this season. Is it an aging LT? Is it the defense? Is it Norv being Norv? (SS)
23. Jaguars (4-6) - Man what happened to the Jags this year? They were a lot of people's pre season Super Bowl pick even coming into the season. As bad as they have played, they still have a slim chance at making the playoffs. They get the Vikings at home this weekend. Being a Bears fan, I am praying they can beat the Vikes! Come on you JAGS!!! (VC)
24. Browns (4-6) - Ok so BQ squeezed a victory out for them.. it's something to build upon. A good matchup against Houston at home for him to get more practice, but can we already say they made the right choice and he is looking much better than D.A?(CK)
25. Texans (3-7) - This team is just not playing well. If they can't outscore the opponent, there is pretty much no chance for a W. The Texans should make sure Matt Schaub is not rushed back early for no reason. He clearly looked like a franchise QB before getting hurt and this is the time to let Rosenfels showcase himself for possible trade bait. (RK)
26. 49ers (3-7) - Samurai Mike has this Niners team playing great now. They waxed the Rams last weekend, and have been playing good football the last couple of weekends. Unfortunately for them, they run into a Cowboys team who has everyone healthy again. (VC)
27. Seahawks (2-8) - Matt Hasselbeck had a less than stellar return to the field but this is a lost season anyways. It will be interesting to see if Holmgren is enticed by the 49ers job down the road and stays in this division. That's about all that is exciting outside of the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West. Oh, I have Frank Gore on my fantasy team so I guess that may top the excitement list. (RK)
28. Rams (2-8) - If this team refuses to so blatantly NOT try on Sundays, then I figure I am going to do the same from now on. The Rams suck. The Rams and Lions should play in a "Crap Bowl" so we can point and laugh some more. (RK)
29. Chiefs (1-9) - The Chiefs keep hanging around in every game, but just can't come out with the W. Like I've said time after time, at least they haven't quit playing this year, like some other teams. Can they come up with an upset vs the visiting Bills this weekend? I doubt it, but I know they will try hard. (VC)
30. Bengals (1-8-1) - What a season for the Bengals. Snap their losing streak with a win, and follow it with a tie. I'm sorry my furry friends, get used to losing as the Bengals play the Steelers in the national spotlight tomorrow night. (CK)
31. Raiders (2-8) - Will they ever win again? (CK)
32. Lions (0-10): Rod Marinelli's press conferences are getting higher ratings in the Detroit area than the Lions games. In this week's episode, Marinelli challenged Detroit News' Reporter Rob Parker to go out on the street and look for players for him. He refuses to change and claims that he is "coaching the hell out of the players" He is the anti-Obama. Once again, FIRE MARINELLI!!! (SS)

Since you forgot to break down Dallas I'll do it for you.
Dallas (6-4): Had the Cowboys lost this week and fallen to a dismal 1-3 in the division, their playoff hopes would have been like vik's basketball career...over! However with the return of Tony Romo and Terrance Newman the Cowboys beat a TOUGH Redskins team. With home games vs. San Fran and Seattle coming up, look for Dallas to move to 8-4.
why so many blanks?
some of the font and coloring is messed up.
Nice work. I think you have the Bears ranked properly but they have the potential to move into the top 10. They have to make a statement at St. Louis this week. Hopefully they'll get their confidence back at least.
I meant top 10 down the road of course, not for a couple weeks at least. I still find it hard to believe the defense really is this bad, but we're 10 games through the season already.
