THE DOCK-TOR'S ORDER- WEEK 11

Sanket Shah (SS): Lions Fanatic; Domain of expertise - NFC North, NFC East, NFC West
Ravi Kumrah (RK): Packers extremist; Domain of expertise - AFC South; NFC North
Vikas Chokshi (VC): Bears Homer; Domain of expertise - NFC North; NFC South
Cohin Kakar (CK): Steelers Maniac; Domain of expertise - AFC North; AFC East, AFC West

1) Titans (9-0)
The Bears dared Kerry Collins to beat them and boy did he ever. He tore through the once vaunted Bears D with long sustained drivers. I know Kerry Collins' stats haven't been impressive, but its time for him to get some MVP consideration. (SS)

2) Giants (8-1)
I was almost enticed to put them at #1. This team still looks like a Super Bowl team but I still don't trust Eli. (SS)

3) Panthers (7-2)
The Panthers have quietly been one of the best teams in football all season long, but they struggled last weekend vs the Raiders. But not to fear Panthers fans, they can turn their struggles around quickly in a matchup vs the Lions this weekend at home. Look for them to GET THEIR ROLL ON, like Daunte. (VC)

4) Steelers (6-3)
This is getting more and more depressing to watch. On top of the atrocious OLine already, there are more injuries on that line, Ben is still in recovery, and Willie is always questionable. If the Steelers fall behind in their division to the Ravens (whom their tied with currently by record), they may miss out on the playoffs if they continue to play like this. (CK)

5) Redskins (6-3)
I think they are going to fade a bit down the stretch especially now that Portis is hurting. (SS)

6) Falcons (6-3)
How about the show they are putting on in ATL!?? Ryan is the real deal, and this young team is continuing to impress. Favorable matchup this week against a questionable Broncos' D, so look for more fireworks! (CK)

7) Bucs (6-3)
This weekend is a big game for the Bucs. Let's see if their defense can contain APETE this weekend! If they can, then the Bucs are legit! They get the Caddy back this weekend too, so let's see if it's fixed and ready to go. (VC)

8) Cardinals (6-3)
Survived a bullet thanks to boneheaded management in SF on MNF, but the O definitely did not fail to impress. Warner is back in MVP form and Boldin and Fitz do not drop passes. These last few games will make or break their season, and you can't ask for a better matchup for this high octane O v.s a weak Seattle D. (CK)

9) Jets (6-3)
Two big bodies on either side of the ball have helped make the Jets a legitimate playoff team. Kris Jenkins has played a key role in transforming this defense into a suffocating, stingy unit. And Brett Favre has been helped by a rejuvenated running game led by great blocking by free agent pickup Alan Faneca and company. Jets/Pats for first place this weekend. (RK)

10) Patriots (6-3)
Matt Cassel v. Brett Favre doesn't sound as great as Tom Brady v. Brett Favre but the Patriots matchup versus the Jets should still be very entertaining game to watch. (SS)

11) Colts (5-4)
I give up. Your guess is as good as mine as to which Indianapolis team shows up on a given weekend. Bad losses making you think the magic is gone, followed by good wins making you think Peyton and Co. still has "it". The Colts have a good string of games that can allow them some stability in the playoff race. I think it may be time to stick Marvin Harrison in the slot and use Anthony Gonzalez more in 2 WR sets. (RK)

12) Ravens (6-3)
Wow, just when we thought the AFC North was decided, we have a tie atop the division. They have a true test v.s the Giants this week and we will find out if they are for real. (CK)

13) Eagles (5-4)
Time and time again Andy Reid and Marty Morenweg continue to amaze me with their terrible play calling and time management. They play in a must win game this week. Lose and say good bye to the Eagles season and say hello to a long off-season with rumors of a McNabb trade. (SS)

14) Cowboys (5-4)
The Boys are finally getting some help! They get Romo and Witten back this weekend, in a big divisional game rivalry game. I think they still got some life left in their tank, but if they lose this weekend, it might be over for the Boys. (VC)

15) Bills (5-4)
The Bills are struggling and the lack of any effective running game and no WR stepping up to pull double teams off Lee Evans is killing this team's chances to pull out some much needed wins. Bad news is that they are 5-4 and in last place. Good news is they are one game out of first place. (RK)

16) Bears (5-4)
This Sunday brings the most important game of the year for the Bears. Not only is it vs the Packers, but this game might go a long way in to determining who wins the NFC North later in the season. Right now, the Bears pass defense is frustrating to watch. If Lovie and his minion BPK don't come up with some new schemes and blitz packages this weekend to pressure Rodgers, it might be a long Sunday for the Bears. But on the other hand, if the Bears come up with a way (RUN FORTE!!) win yet again in GB, it will put them in the drivers seat to make the playoffs. (VC)

17) Dolphins (5-4)
Two straight home games. Win both and these Dolphins are definitely the story of the year in the NFL. (SS)

18) Broncos (5-4)
Just how many running backs can a team place on IR? Fantasy owners of Jay Cutler are going to be pleased at the probable pass heavy offense for the rest of the season. But the age old formula of running the ball as you claw through the playoffs does not bode well for this team. Tatum Bell (the second time around) is still not the answer. (RK)

19) Vikings (5-4)
The Vikings are getting hot at the right time, and they have APETE leading the way for them. They are also healing from some early season injuries. IF they can beat the Bucs this weekend, they have a chance to move into first in the division. Their upcoming schedule is brutal too, so they need this game bad. Unfortunately for them, I think they go down to the Bucs (VC)

20) Chargers (4-5)
I still don't think this team is consistent enough to make the playoffs this year. Yeah they got jobbed in Denver earlier this year but they were also very lucky to pull out a win against a gutsy Chiefs team last week. (SS)

21) Saints (4-5)
If the Dolphins are my story of the year, this team is my most disappointing of the year. So much talent ruined by bad luck and injuries. Also, now everyone can agree that the Giants hosed them in the Shockey trade. (SS)

22) Packers (4-5)
It's hard to put a finger on what ails this team. The easy way out would be to say this is a "transition" year and the team is getting it's feet underneath them again. But Brett Favre or not, this team was 13-3 last year and it's the fundamentals like pass protection and leading the league in penalties that have the Packers fighting themselves. The NFC North is very tight, and this weekend's game is enormously important. (As if Bears vs. Packers isn't enough by itself). (RK)

23) Jaguars (4-5)
The Jags put a beat down on the lowly Lions last weekend, but they will need to pull out a big win this weekend vs the Titans if they want to make the playoffs. Crazier things have happened, but this team is too erratic for me to rank any higher as of now. (VC)

24) Browns (3-6)
Well we finally got our first glimpse (uhhh) of BQ, and it wasn't too bad. But what is going to happen when teams take away the outlet TE and the RB's and he is forced to target his WR's? This team has been a huge disappointment this year, but if they are gonna turn it around, it has to start against Buffalo on MNF. (CK)

25) Texans (3-6)
This team had a brutal first couple games to its season and never seemed to get the ship right in time to make any sort of run in the AFC. However the Texans do have a lot of great pieces at skill positions to work with in the future. If Sage Rosenfels plays well in the games Schaub remains out, the Texans could try parlaying a trade for him into another key piece (or some draft picks) now that they are more comfortable with Schaub as the man. (RK)

26) Seahawks (2-7)
There aren't very many winnable games left on the schedule. We might be inclined to give the Seahawks a "pass" this year because of all the injuries to key players. But that is never an excuse. It's always painful to watch a playoff team fall so hard the next year. Things don't necessarily get better with the transition of a new coach coming in. Marcus Trufant has submitted a winning individual effort this year as one of the few bright spots. (RK)

27) 49ers (2-7)
The Niners put up a great fight on MNF vs the Cards. It looks like Samurai Mike at least has them playing hard and having fun out there. Let's see if they can take their performance on MNF and build for next year based on that. Hopefully they can discover some good pieces to keep for their future. (VC)

28) Rams (2-7)
Well, we've already come full circle to the "same ol' Rams" from the beginning of the season. They just aren't competitive in games lately and need a major overhaul. Marc Bulger looks like he has lost some confidence. I'm guessing the sieve of an offensive line isn't helping matters. (RK)

29) Chiefs (1-8)
The Chiefs are the best 1-8 team in football mannnnn!!! I'm telling you, these Chiefs do not give up! They are also a spread covering machine so far. They get Larry Johnson back this week, so let's see if he can help them win a game. (VC)

30) Bengals (1-8)
They won their last game and had a bye week to enjoy it. Will they come back refreshed to finish strong? Doubtful. A pissed off Philly team is gonna have alot of wrath to take out on the poor Bengals. (CK)

31) Raiders (2-7)
Gotta love their DB's.. and that's about it. (CK)

32) Lions (0-9)
Rod Marinelli announced today that Daunte Culpepper will be the starter at Carolina with Drew Stanton maybe getting some goal line action. Let me ask you what good does it do to keep your young QB on the bench when the season is already over? FIRE MARINELLI. (SS)
