STONE COLD LEAD PIPE DOCKS OF THE WEEK

We've been traveling like crazy recently, so sorry to anyone who was checking in and looking for these picks earlier. Gluck to everyone, and hopefully we can keep the money flowing in. Gluck playaz...

IP's Pix:

San Diego at Buffalo (Chargers -1) – My chargers are absolutely maddening. Just when you think they are about to turn the corner they have a let-down game, and when you are about to write them off they come out and look like world beaters. Which is it Norv Turner? I think they have gotten their stuff together and will fulfill some of the promise they had coming into this season. Trent Edwards coming off the concussion does not bode well for the Bills. If J.P. Losman is under center look for it to be a long day for the Buffalo fan base. Chargers by 10. (27-17)

Colts at Packers (Colts -1) – THEY'RE BAAACKKKKKK!! Shame on all you non-believers and your lack of faith in Peyton Manning. The Colts are finally hitting a groove in their offense and the line is getting healthy, however the running back situation looks suspect. Addai and hart are out…but the trusted Dominic Rhodes is still there. The Packers are a pretty resilient team and are tough at home, but look for Manning and the boys to control the clock and dictate to the Packers. Colts by a touch… (28-21)

Dallas at St. Louis- (Rams +12) – This spread is huge……..and couple this with the fact that Romo is out I just don't see Dallas covering here. Bulger and the Rams will make this one competitive at home. Also both the Natural and the Legend are on the same team in Big D (which has turned into a circus thanks to "Make it Rain" Pacman Jones). Cowboys will win but will not cover. Take the Rams. Dallas 31-21.

New Orleans at Carolina- (Carolina -3) – Okay so this is the deal….a tough division matchup in the middle of the season home field advantage is huge. A home crowd can make all the difference in a close game between rivals. In this game I just don't see Carolina stopping Drew Cool Brees. This cat has this offense humming and his deep ball completion percentage is ridiculous. Reggie Bush is creating chaos out there, and the defense had a good showing last week against the raiders (I know a sub par team). This game will be close all the way through but I think the Saints are ready to make a push in the division and will pull this one out. Saints by 3 (27-24)

LOCK OF THE WEEK

Jets at Oakland- (Jets -3)- Oakland is just bad. No leadership a crappy owner and it seems no pride (see last weeks spanking by the Saints). Favre and the Jets are disciplined and ready to make a run in the open AFC East. Look for the Jets to dictate to the Raiders and beat the Raiders with ease. Jets 28-13.

Vik's Pix:

Titans at Chief(Titans -7) - I'm loving the Titans in this game. Their defense is sick, and is playing better than ever. Vanden B and Haynes are killer together in the middle. KCollins is also filling in nicely, and is moving their offense well, and just enough to win. The difference in this game is going to be Chris Johnson. Look for him to bust open this game with his speed and pass catching abilities out of the backfield. The Chiefs are also in a huge disarray right now, with TGo pissed at the organization for not trading him, and with Larry Johnson suspended for this game. This will be a different Chiefs team than the one that beat the Broncos at home a couple of weeks ago, so don't be scared playaz. Put your money on the Titans, even if you have to lay up to 10 pts. I got them at 7 earlier this week, so I went big. The Chiefs will fall behind early, and this game will be a rout.

Cowboys at Rams (Cowboys -7) - I got this game at 7, and this line is just too good for me to pass up, even with all the problems the Cowboys are having right now. I know the Rams beat a great team last week, but this will be a let down game for them. Brad Johnson will do enough to keep the Boys offense moving, and even though Romo went down, Barber and Witten will dominate this game this weekend. And I don't know if you guys have read the book called the Blindside, (btw, one of the best books I've ever read. If you love Football, please check it out asap.) but Orlando Pace is out in this game. That means Demarcus Ware is going to go nuts, and that is bad news for Bulger and the Rams. Their offense is still too inconsistent, and their D just has too many holes for me to put faith in them. Take the Boys and give the 7.

Chargers at Bills (Bills +1) - I hate going against IP, but I really like the Bills in this game. Here's why. The Chargers are coming off of a big win on SNF, so a let down is in order. They are also traveling all the way across the country for an early football game today. The Bills are coming off of a bye week. Edwards is ok. The Bills D will be a lot better than what the Chargers faced last week. And the home crowd will be rocking. People are loving the Chargers, and for that reason, I'll take the Bills.

Lions at Texans(Texans -10) - The Lions are flat out terrible, and they will struggle on the road in this game. They have obviously packed in this season because they traded away Roy Will, and they have Dan "I run out of the end zone" Orlovshahgfudhfy starting at QB. The Texans and Schaub are finally putting up big numbers on offense, and their defense led by Mario Williams is finally starting to play better. Look for the Texans crowd to be hyped and for them to put up a lot of pts in this one. Fantasy update, start your Texans!!!

Ravens at 'Fins(Fins -3) - The Fins overall are playing solid football. This wildcat offense is rowdy and no one has been able to stop it yet. Normally the Ravens would be up to the task, but their D is really banged up. Flacco is also hurting big time on the road right now, and I look for that to continue vs an improving Fins defense. I just don't see the Ravens putting up enough pts to upset these Wildcats.

Gluck everyone!!!
