THE DOCK-TOR'S ORDER - WEEK 5

RK and SS are busy this week, so here are mine and Cohin's rankings for the week. After a couple of upsets last weekend, especially the Chiefs over the Broncos, the rankings have changed...

- Titans - I don't know if you guys have been checking my betting picks of the week, but I've been riding the Titans all season long. They have been playing amazing football this year, and they are propelled by their dominating defense. They have a big game vs the Ravens this weekend, so let's see how they perform. (VC)

- Giants - The Giants have played great football all year long, I look for that to continue this weekend at home vs the SHawks. The Big question for this team is will Plax situation bring them together, or be their downfall? We'll find out Sunday. (VC)

- Steelers- A good rebound in the 2nd half on MNF, but the issues at RB might cause problems. They did beat an aggressive Raven's D, no reason that they cannot take the weakened AFC. (CK)

- Bills - The Bills have been playing great football all year long, but a lot of people are still not giving them their due. This weekend's road game at Arizona will go a long way into telling us if this team is legit. (VC)

- Cowboys - They lost a tough game last weekend at home vs the Skins, but they still have one of the best overall teams in the game. We will find out Sunday if this T.O./ Romo stuff will affect the team, or if it is just being blown out of proportion. (VC)

- Redskins - The 'Skins got a great win last weekend at Dallas, but now they have to go into a hostile Philly stadium to play a pissed off Eagles team. If they get this tough W, the 'Skins could be in first in the hardest division in football if the Giants lose, and they would immediately move into the top 3 of everyone's Power Rankings. (VC)

- Panthers - The have been one of the most consistent teams all season long, and I look for that to continue this weekend. Steve Smith is back as he showed you last weekend, so look for the Panthers to be a consistent top ten team this year. (VC)

- Bucs - The Bucs have played solid football all year long, and have only 1 loss vs a good Saints team on the road. They face another tough test this weekend where they go onto the road into Mile-High Stadium. If they can W or keep this close, they are for real. (VC)

- Eagles - They lost a tough game to the Bears last weekend, but they were without one of their best weapons in Westbrook. They are pissed, and are looking for a big win this weekend vs the 'Skins. (VC)

- Broncos - The Broncos suffered a real bad loss last weekend, proving their defense is their biggest quetion mark this season. We all know their O is for real, but can they stop anyone? Real big test this weekend at home to show us that. (VC)

- Ravens- The toughness is back, and the rookie isn't half bad. This team will surprise alot of teams, and look for them to snag the wild card. (CK)

- Chargers - The Chargers look like they are back, especially with LT finally back to what looks like a 100 percent. They have a solid all around team, but I'd like to see them get a couple of W's first, before they crack our top ten. (VC)

- Jaguars - The Jags escaped with a W last weekend, and they look like they are on the right track now, after starting out the year with some L's. Can they take their streak to 3 games vs a solid Steelers team this weekend? (VC)

- Bears - The Bears and their defense proved last weekend that they are here to stay for this season. They have led 14 out of 16 quarters in their first four games, and have beaten two solid opponents in the Eagles and the Colts. But now the injury bug has bitten them with Vasher, Tillman, McGowen, Booker, Lloyd and Harris all struggling right now with some bad injuries. Harris also got suspended this week by the Bears for 1 game. Will all of this bring this team together to find a way to get a W vs the Lions this weekend? Or will they be last year's inconsistent Bears who lose a game after every meaningful victory? We will find out Sunday (VC)

- Saints - The Saints offense is amazing. No matter who Brees has, he is a yardage machine. Bush is showing this year that he is ready for the spotlight, and they are putting up sick numbers on O. Can their D step up, and can they recover from these injuries? If they do, they will be dangerous all year long. (VC)

- Jets - The Jets came out guns blazing last weekend, putting up 56 pts vs the Cards. BF did what he has never done before, tossing 6 TD's too. They have a bye this weekend, and play the struggling Bungles next weekend, which should take them into the top 15. (VC)

- Patriots - The Pats got smoked by the Fins and I am sure this whole team is upset about that loss. They usually are money after bye weeks, so let's see how they respond this weekend on the road. If they get the W they will be back on track, if they L, then it might be panic time for the Pats. (VC)

- Colts - The Colts needed that bye week last weekend. They get a bunch of Olineman and their TE back this weekend, and Manning has another week of practice under his belt. Usually that spells disaster for their opponent. The Colts look to get back on track this weekend. (VC)

- Packers - The Packers have looked great at times, but they have also looked terrible at times. Their season could hinge on AR's health now. If he misses an extended period of time, their backup QB's don't look like they are ready to handle the NFL just yet. We'll find out this Sunday what the Packers are made of. (VC)

- Cardinals- Cardinal nation and fantasy owners everywhere almost had heart attacks after that scary hit on Boldin. Thank God he's alive and ok, and if the Cardinals can find any kind of defense there is time to turn this season back around with that high octane offense. (CK)

- 49ers - The Niners have played great football so far this year and have surprised some people, but this weekend's game vs the Pats might be the difference between them winning hte NFC West, and them just being with the rest of the pack. (VC)

- Falcons- This team cannot handle a tough Defense, when they do the rookie struggles and Turner can't burn if there are no holes. This weekend's good match up against a downward spiraling GB team could get this team back on track. (CK)

- Browns- Somebody had to win last week after all, and Braylon actually hung on to the ball in the end zone! Big improvement on both fronts, but Romeo is walking on thin ice.(CK)

- Seahawks - The Hawks have been banged up all season long, but QB Hassleback will get some of his WR's back this weekend in Engram and Branch. Let's see if those guys can help the Hawks start to get back to the top of the NFC West. (VC)

- Vikings- Tough game against one of the best teams in the NFL this year, but it doesn't look like it's gonna get any better anytime soon in Minnesota. Too bad the Twins didn't make the playoffs at least for the people! (CK)

- Dolphins - Was the 'Fins W vs the Pats a preview of what's to come for the 'Fins? Or was it just a fluke? We will find out this weekend vs the Chargers. (VC)

- Raiders- Impressive coming out party last weekend, stuffing it down the Charger's throat early on, but inconsistency (as usual) gives the game away. Lots of controversy in Oakland is only gonna make matters worse. (CK)

- Chiefs - Is LJ back? Great win for the Chiefs last weekend vs the Broncos. But was it a fluke, or can they carry that momentum into this weekend and get another W. (VC)

- Texans - The Texans almost pulled off an upset last weekend, but they ended up with another L. They finally start a 4 game home stand this weekend, but they face another tough opponent in the Colts. This is pretty much do or die for the Texans, so let's see how it goes for them. (VC)

- Lions - With Matt Millen finally being let go in Detroit, can this organization turn things around? They have some talented players, and if they can beat the Bears this weekend, their season has a chance of being saved. If not, then it's going to be another "wait until next year" in Detroit. (VC)

- Bengals- Is Marvin the next Lane/Millen/Linehan? No Carson and Ocho Cinco still talking about TD celebrations can only lead to another disgraceful season. (CK)

- Rams - Maybe their new coach can motivate this team to start playing football this season, because they have been horrible otherwise. With Bulger back at the helm, maybe they can get something going after this bye week. Let's wait and see. (VC)
