A couple of days ago, there was a report out there saying that Tommie Harris' knee was a lot worse than people actually believed it was, and that there was a chance he would miss Game 1 and possibly more time this season.
Tommie Harris finally put an end to all those rumors by practicing the last couple of days, and by answering all of the media questions regarding his knee positively.
Harris said ''I practiced today and I feel great, I wouldn't have practiced if I was hurting.'' Harris also went on to say ''They're just being extra cautious, I want to be where my team needs to be, which is on the field during the season. Watch me out there. Let's see what will happen.''
When Harris is out there, he is hands down one of the best, if not the best, DT in the game on Sundays. And I don't know about you guys, but I'm really excited to see Tommie Harris finally playing on Sundays being a 100 percent or close to it. All us Bears fans remember watching the poor guy play last year, gutting it out for the team. Harris was practically on one leg during last season, and was still a dominant force on the field. Anyways, let's see how he performs vs the Colts on Sunday, but like his Bears teammates say, "when the lights are on, watch Tommie Harris play." GO BEARS!!!
