THE DOCK-TOR'S ORDER - WEEK 3

This week Cohin K of our rankings committee checks in with his rankings and thoughts, so check them out below...

1) Cowboys

This high octane offense is dominating anything in sight. Despite a great fight by Philly, the Cowboys are the clear favorites in the NFC, but giving up 37 points has to raise some questions on the D side.

2) Steelers

Now that it is confirmed that Ben’s shoulder is a mere sprain, this team is definitely still the front runner in the AFC, despite the ugly win in Cleveland. Great test this week in Philly.

3) Eagles

I know this is a one loss team, but with McNabb healthy, you cannot argue that they are not better than the rest of the NFC. They were 5 points away from beating Dallas and BW is not disappointing. Once DeSean gets his head on straight, this team will be unstoppable.

4) Broncos

Cutler is playing out of his mind, and the WR core has been extremely impressive. The D has some holes, but thus far we have no reason to believe that the offense can’t cover for them.

5) Packers

Who would have thought? After being publicly labeled a “bonehead” for letting Favre go for Rodgers, maybe Thompson really did know what he was doing. Rodgers has been terrific thus far, and the WR’s are some of the best in the game. The D is feisty, and if they stay healthy, they will compete for the NFC title, which perhaps may be determined this Sunday vs the Cowboys.

6) Giants

Eli is showing no symptoms of a Super Bowl hangover, and the D still looks good with the new starters. Plaxico is still bringing it hard on gamedays, and the Giants are still undefeated!

7) Panthers

The Panthers already look like a great squad, and now with Steve Smith coming back, one can only imagine they will take it up a notch. Great win v.s Chicago, and that D is gonna definitely pull off some more upsets.

8) Titans

No VY? No problem.. Defense is still dominating, and Collins is enough to suffice.

9) Colts

Losing Sanders is an immense downfall for the defense, and the offense just has not been clicking like in years past. Is Harrison done for? Peyton still has the arm, but it is going to take some time to get back on the same page as the WR’s. Is Addai even attending the games?

10) Saints

A painful loss to Washington sets them back a bit, but the weapons will come through in crunch time.

11) Bills

This is the team to watch this year! Lynch and Edwards are putting on a show and that defense is nitty and gritty.. The East is going to be very interesting as Favre heats up, NE collapses, and the Bills perhaps dominate again??

12) Patriots

I am overeating them here, but somehow they are still undefeated behind Clown Cassell. A increasingly tougher schedule will put them in their place, and a frustrated Moss can only lead to God knows what.

13) Cardinals

Maybe they will collapse like everyone says, but little do people know their RB leads the league in rushing, their frustrated WR leads the league in TD receptions, and the nucleus behind it all is a Super Bowl MVP. On paper, it’s all the right ingredients…

14) Jets

They would have loved to de-throne NE this early, but learned the hard way it will take some time. Tough week 2 loss, but they will bounce back, we have faith in Brett!

15) Bears

This team should have been 2-0. Losing Hester for a few weeks will set the highly touted special teams back, and make them rely more on the umm, ahem.. offense. The D looks good though, and this Sunday will be a make or break game for the squad.

16) Bucs

A strong D is overcoming the problems at QB, and the veteran WR core is getting the job done. Galloway is out for a bit, but look for Bryant to help the team not miss a beat.

17) Chargers

The disappointment of the season. LT doesn’t look like LT, and even though they may have been robbed last Sunday, that defense is just not the same without Merriman. I expect a long season for the bolts.

18) Redskins

Big rebound win for the Skins last Sunday over the Saints. Portis and Moss looked in prime form and Campbell got the job done. Can they do it consistently?

19) Ravens

Got a gift wrapped bye week and can say they are undefeated going into week 3. Once their schedule turns into inner-division play, look for this team to drop off like a Philly WR’s celebrations.

20) Jaguars

The first of my “who saw this one coming?” Just disappointment and embarrassment in Jacksonville. After an impressive year last year, including beating the Steelers at home twice and almost finishing off the Patriots, nobody saw this coming from the Jags. It might be over for them.

21) Browns

The next “who saw this one coming?” However, you could not have asked for a tougher 2 weeks to start the season, and those games will only season this team to play stronger in upcoming weeks. They will be on the road, but they will be back, no doubt.

22) Vikings

The Tjax era is over thankfully, and if Frerotte can be half-functional they still have time to turn the season around. AP and the D have showed glimpses of greatness, competence at QB is all they need.

23) Texans

They got a bye to regroup after the tough loss to Pittsburgh. Look for them to rebound hard and play well for the next few weeks.

24) Seahawks

I have seen high school WR’s that play better than this core.. or is Hassebach really getting to be that bad?

25) Falcons

Bad, bad loss last Sunday, as Ryan found out the hard way what it’s like to be a rookie QB in the NFL. He will settle down, and ATL will slightly improve.

26) 49ers

Wow, the 49ers won! Martz has already improved the team.. let’s hope he can keep it up before getting too trigger happy and airing it out.

27) Raiders

Run DMC is living up to the hype, and what a 1-2 combo with big bruiser out of the ‘Ville, Michael Bush! Exciting team to watch, but need more production from the WR’s.

28) Lions

They almost stole one out of Green Bay, but the Lions once again live up to their rep. Kitna played decent until the final minutes, throwing 2 costly INT’s. Until he learns not to force the issue, they will struggle, and God help them if the Benson deal really goes through. Is this what it has come down to?

29) Bengals

You could pretty much interchange any of these last 4 teams. I put Cincy here just based on potential, which is obviously unfulfilled. How bad can an all star team really be?

30) Dolphins

Big Tuna is having a hard time. There is literally no pulse in Miami. RB’s stink, WR’s are playing like clowns, and the D is even more non-existent than before right now.

31) Chiefs

Horrible team thus far, play against ATL this week which should give them some shining moments, but don’t be surprised if Turner and co. run all over this invisible defense.

32) Rams

1 TD in 2 games. Sorry Sjax owners, congrats to any teams that have the Rams on their schedule.
