The Bears made a move today that should help solidify our OLINE, or at least give it depth. They picked up Guard Buenning from the Bucs, who was a really solid player a couple of years ago. They gave up a future draft pick in 2009 for him, which I have heard will be a late round pick.
I actually had the chance to watch him play2 years ago for the Bucs, and he was a nice run blocking Guard. He was injured all of last year, but they say he is healthy this year, and is ready to go. I don't see Buenning coming in and starting here, but I do see him giving us a lot of depth on the line, which is something we desperately need.
The Bears have also offered free agent Tackle Willie Anderson from the Bengals a deal, but from the looks of it, it doesn't seem like he will be coming here. They have also offered former Bear Fred Miller a deal as well, but he still has not decided on what he wants to do.
I will keep you posted on any other moves or signings and will have a full Bears wrap coming up this week, so stay tuned.
