TEAM USA BASKETBALL MIX

Sorry the blog's been mia lately, but I have a good reason, I swear. I was in Green Bay this weekend for my good buddy Ravi's engagement, so I was tied up with that. The weekend definitely included a lot of drunken debauchery, but it was a great time and was definitely worth what suffering I am currently enduring. I also have four fantasy football drafts this week coupled with work, so times will be tough, but I will definitely continue posting, so stay tuned!

Anyways, during this weekend, I still managed to get home to watch the Redeem Team play for the Gold and WIN late Saturday night, and it was amazing. DWADE and KOBE were just balling out of control and that fourth quarter was great to watch. Some of my favorite highlights from the game were:

- Watcing Ricky Rubio play, the kid is amazing and he is only 17! I definitely need to do a Rubio post now, for those of you all that have not seen him play. The kid is smooth and is a joy to watch, nh.

- Rudy Fernandez's dunk!!! WOW!!!

- DWade's awesome finals game! DWade had an amazing Olympics, and this finals just put him over the top! I know a few DWADE haters out there, whose names I won't mention (well maybe their initials - CK,RP), who have jumped back onto the DWade bandwagon! I'm loving it. Go WADE!! GO MU!!!

- Kobe just being Kobe and taking over in the fourth. I told my friends who are huge Kobe haters that in Team USA's time of need, he would step up to the plate, and he did! This was in a way redemption for Kobe after the Lakers lost to the Celts in the Finals. That four point play was the play of the game, and it had our entire hotel going nuts! Everyone started chanting USA! USA! USA! It was a great feeling.
