CUBAN COMES TO CUBS CHARITY EVENT

CUBS FANS, get ready, this really might be happening. Mark Cuban might be the new Cubs owner, pretty damn soon. Now I'm sure you guys have heard about Cuban's offer to buy the Cubs by now, if you haven't, read here.

Anyways Cuban showed up to Kerry Wood's annual Charity Event last night, but he was all mum about the Cubs bid. Check it out below...

I personally would love it if Cuban became the Cubs owner. Growing up a Cubs fan, we went through watching just terrible teams and horrible seasons, because the owners could care less about who they put out on the field. They knew we would always watch, and that fans would always come, and that tourists would always venture their ways out to Wrigley Field. Only recently have the Cubs been spending the big bucks, and we are all seeing the results of this spending, with winning seasons and good ball clubs.

If Cuban were to get the team, we all know he would always at least put a great product out there, and he would definitely try to get us the best players available, year in and year out. That is exactly what Cuban will deliver, and that is all we can ask for as fans.

If the Cubs can win the series this year, we might be headed towards a Golden Era of Chicago Cubs baseball. Go Cubs go! Go Cuban Go!

I couldn't agree more. Cuban would be perfect for the Cubs. If you agree, join the fight in trying to get Cuban to Chicago. Check out this campaign: http://www.thepoint.com/campaigns/bring-cuban-to-the-cubs
