LOU AND HARDEN ON HARDEN'S DEBUT

I know this video is OLD NEWS, but Lou and Harden both talk about Harden's debut from Saturday.

My friend Tom summed up Harden's Saturday debut pretty well...
10 k's in 5 and a third. 98 mph heat. Guess all that dead arm talk was bogus huh? He was filth.

Well said Tom. It was definitely great for Cubs fans to see Harden pitch so well in his first outing as a Cub. Hopefully that is just one of many more great starts to come for the season.




BTW, thank God the Cubs won this game. Marmol came in and had another terrible outing and almost blew this game.

Which leads me to ask, what the hell is wrong with Marmol?

Is it mental? Is it his mechanics? Or, is he just hurt?!?!

You don't go from being unhittable in the league, to just getting shelled this bad in every single outing you get out there.

I personally think it is mental, so hopefully Carlos, Lou, and Larry can figure out the issues, and get them fixed quick. We will definitely need Marmol back to his old form if we want to be playing deep into October this season.
