I know this is some more OLD NEWS, but while I was gone, the Bears and RB Matt Forte agreed on a deal. Just wanted to post the update for you Bears fans out there.
Read the article above if you get a chance. Apparently Forte has been amazing in practices and OTA's, and the entire team is gushing about him.
Let's hope he is good enough to carry the load this year, because if he isn't, the Bears offense will definitely be one of the worst offenses in the League. But if somehow he is as good as advertised, the Bears will be able to go back to their run heavy offense, coupled with a solid Defense and incredible Special Teams.
Anyways, this line pretty much sums up Forte for now...
Forte displayed some of that elusiveness during mini-camp. Now everyone wants to know if he can do it in pads.

Why don't we get a known RB who has been established in the league. There are some quality ones out there. At least get one for insurance purposes. K Jones, Alexander, T Henry, any one of these guys would be good in case Forte doesn't pan out to be the next great RB. Where did this guy play again?
