CUBS LOSE, LOU GETS TOSSED

I know I normally don't write about the Cubs on here, in fear of jinxing them, but watching yesterday's game was really frustrating. We wasted yet another great effort by Harden, who had another 10 k's, making it 30's in 3 starts. The bats were just dead, and the Cubs couldn't come up with a clutch hit, even if their lives depended on it. The Pen struggled again, ultimately giving up the runs that cost us the game.

As usual, the Brew Crew won while we lost, putting us in a tie for the NL Central with the Brewers, with the Cards creeping at only 3 games back. Hopefully the Cubbies bats can come alive today, to split the series.

Also during the game, Lou was tossed by 1st base ump Drake. Drake is definitely overly antagonistic, a Cub hater, and a terrible ump on the whole. Hopefully the League can review film from his games this year and fine him or penalize him for the garbage he has been pulling all year long.
