CUBS LOSE SORIANO

Even though the Cubs waxed today, we lost Soriano, our lead off hitter, to a broken hand. It looks like he will be out anywhere from 6-12 weeks with a broken hand. The Cubs have seemed ok scoring runs in the past without him, but let's see how they do in the long run this year. Luckily this year Reed Johnson is playing well, and for now we can plug into CF and kind of go from there. We also have Patterson who we will call up, and Edmonds, and some other OF's we can mix and match with for the meantime. Let's hope for the best Cubs fans.

I guess the Curse followers knew something like this was coming right? Is the curse still alive? For the people who believe in it, they say this is proof! I guess it has begun then...
