BEASLEY UPDATE

Sup playaz! With the Draft around the corner, we have some more Beasley links and videos for you, so get ready. First things first, be sure to check out this piece on Beasley from ESPN The Magazine, it is pretty tight. I was glad someone did a piece on Beasley that was positive. It really shows you a different side of Beasley, and makes you appreciate him and his game even more. I love how he hates to lose and how he is really competitive. All the greats have that quality, so it is good to see that Beasley has that in him. Also, the more and more I see of Beasley, the more I am reminded of Gilbert Arenas. Anyways... it is a great article, so you better read it. I definitely think my favorite part from the piece was the following...

After 10 reps, he walks off the court glazed in sweat. Sitting on the bleachers, he stares at his black Air Jordans. "I do this every day because I want to be a winner," Beasley says. "Losing makes me stronger, but winning makes me invincible."

He chugs a blue sports drink and removes a soaked T-shirt, revealing his newest tattoo. It reads:

MARRIED TO THE GAME.

What's not to love?

That's sick! Man, after reading this article, I am even more really hyped and excited about the upcoming Draft. I don't even know how that is possible, but I am. We went from having the 9th, 10th or 11th pick, to getting the 1st pick, and a choice of either Beasley or Rose. Again, what's not to love?
