GUNNIN FOR THAT NUMBER 1 SPOT!!!

If you are a Basketball junkie like me, you are going to love this new Basketball documentary coming out on June 27th called 'Gunnin' For That Number 1 Spot. I actually heard about the movie yesterday when I read about it at The Ball Don't Lie Yahoo Blog. The film features big named players like Kevin Love, M Beasley, and Jarryd Bayless, to just name a few. And, I won't lie, I almost jizzed after watching this trailer, it is sick, and brings back memories of Hoop Dreams/ Above The Rim. Check it out...

Lastly, here is a nice interview with Adam Yauch, formerly of the Beastie Boys. This movie is actually his baby, so it is cool to hear him talk about the film in this interview. From Beastie Boys, to making Basketball Documentaries, that is tight. I loved the Beastie Boys, so I am sure I will love this flick. Check it out...



I can't wait until this documentary drops, I am literally counting the days now. FYI, I have also emailed some people at Oscillo Scope Labs to see if we could find out a little more about the film, so I will keep you guys posted if I hear anything back. Maybe with their connections Ball Don't Lie or True Hoop can get us some more footage from the film as well. I will run it by them also, because I know there are a million Basketball Junkies out there like me who are dying to see this documentary. Anyways, I am out for now, so take care playaz.
