BEARS DRAFT PREVIEW

Sup playaz, hope everyone is doing well. Today is a huge day for the Bears organization, and it will definitely define how the Bears are going to do in this upcoming season, and for years to come. If we have a good draft, we can definitely be back in the mix for the NFC North Title next year. If we compile busts on offense, like Angelo has in years past, the Bears might be one of the worst teams in the league next year.

This years draft is very deep in my opinion, and the Bears have a lot of holes, so let's see how Angelo does. We all know Angelo is great at drafting defensive players, but this year the Bears desperately need offensive help, so we need Angelo to finally come through for once.

The Bears have many holes to fill, including Oline, Rb, Qb, Wr, and Safety.

I think the most pressing need for the Bears is the offensive line. The Bears line was absolutely terrible this year, and it didn't get any better in the off season, because we did not sign any free agent help in that area. We also lost two starters in RT Fred Miller, and LG Ruben Brown in the off season, which made matters even worse.

We will need to draft hopefully two starters from this draft for the Oline, especially one really good starter if we can find one. I feel like we will target one of these following lineman with the 14th pick in the draft today. Here are some of the guys that the Bears have been talked about drafting...

Jeff Otah OT from Pitt - 6'6 339lbs

Chris Williams OT from Vandy - 6'5 318 lbs

Branden Albert OT from Virginia 6'7 317lbs

Ryan Clady OT Boise State 6'6 317lbs

At Rb, we definitely need help considering we have a combination of FakePete, C Bumson, and Mini Dunno Wolfe. Here are some of the guys the Bears will be looking at, hopefully we can get someone who is an immediate impact maker...

Best case scnerio, Chi town's own Mendenhall - 5'11 225

Johnathan Stewart, a real work horse, 5'10 235

Felix Jones, 5'10 207

Jaamal Charles, 5'11 200 lbs

Ray Rice, 5'8 199

Matt Forte, 6'1, 217lbs

Now at WR, I look for the Bears to take a WR in the later rounds, maybe a burner like Donnie Avery from Houston...

At Qb, we have Rex and Orton, and it doesn't look like either is the Franchise Qb we have all longed for. I definitely see us taking a Qb maybe in the mid to later rounds. Maybe a player like Andre Woodson would be a good fit.

Here is some footage of him...

Also hear the Bears might move up for either one of these three Qbs...

Brian Brohm

Chad Henne

Joe Flacco

Anyways, I hoped that quick preview helped you Bears fans out there, and let's all pray for a great draft. GO BEARS!!!
