If any of you wish to join me in my wonderful world of Chicago Sports depression, just turn on your tv and watch the Chicago Bulls play one day. If you make it through an entire game, trust me, you will be depressed. God I miss the old days...
After all that talk over the past week about how the team is ready to make a playoff run with everyone back, they go out and lose to the NETS of all teams. More empty promises from a Bulls team whose tank is pretty much on E already. I still can't believe we lost to the Nets. The same Nets who just traded away their best player in JKidd, and were missing Devin Harris to an ankle injury tonight. Watching this game just reminded me of how much of a loser I am, because I refuse to quit on this team as a fan. I think what I need to realize is that this team has already quit on all of us. Another pathetic display has brought me to my tipping point I think.
As if the depression I felt from watching the Bulls lose wasn't enough, I had to go and watch the Lakers and Suns play afterwards. I saw just how amazing these two teams really are, and it made me realize just how terrible the Bullies really are compared to these elite teams. I think even the Lakes or Suns 6th 7th best players would probably be the best player on our team.
Oh well at least the NBA is fun to watch again, too bad my Bullies are not. I swear I am going to stop watching them one of these days... Who am I kidding, I'm a loser Chicago Sports Junkie, so I am stuck with these Bullies until they really give me a heart attack one day. Peace playaz...
