The New Look Bullies played well tonight, and for the first time in a long time, looked like a real NBA team. Overall everyone played well and had their moments, but the two biggest contributors were Chicago's two newest players in DGooden and LHughes. Hughes scored 29 on 10 of 19 shooting, to go along with 6 assists and 3 steals, and he finished off his great night by hitting some clutch 4th quarter shots. Gooden did his thing, scoring 10 pts, but more importantly grabbing 15 boards, getting 2 swat teams, and getting his hands on a lot of loose balls throughout the game. In his first couple games played DGooden already looks like a much better fit for the Bulls than Ben Wallace ever was. I know it was just a game vs the Pacers, but we have struggled playing at their home court throughout the years, so I will take this win, and I'm sure the Bulls will too.
On a side note, Duhon got his third consecutive DNP. I don't understand this at all. If this was going to be the case after the trade went down, why didn't Pax unload his expiring contract to a team in need of a decent backup pg? Just another move you have to question when it comes to Pax's mistakes. Anyways, it a good night for the Bullies, let's see if they can keep this up and make a run for the playoffs.
