While I was watching the Vtech college football game last night, I noticed that some of the players had hand written names on their jerseys, which was pretty funny. It was reported that before the game some of the Vtech player's jerseys were stolen. Because of this the players were given temp jerseys to wear and had to write their names on the back of their jerseys. You have to see it to believe it I guess.
Anyways, this stolen jersey incident got me thinking and brought back some childhood memories for me. It took me back to the MJ days (boy do I miss those glory years), and the night when his Red 23 jersey got stolen. Does anyone else remember this night, or am I the only twang who cares or even remembers?
It was the Valentine's Day game in 1990, and the Bulls were getting ready to play at Orlando. Right before the game it was reported that MJ's jersey got stolen, and everyone was panicking. Since they were on the road and this was back in the day, they did not have any other 23's handy for MJ to wear. Would MJ actually have to sit out? No way fools! The Bulls got one of their minions in Sam Vincent to let MJ borrow his number 12 jersey for the night, and the rest was history as Jordan put on a show as usual, even rocking the number 12.
If this post just wasted two minutes of your life, I am very sorry, please forgive me. I just posted it because I thought some people might find it interesting.
Long live the G.O.A.T.!!!

haha I never knew.
no way
Interesting to know.
Yeah I remember that. There is even a basketball card with him in the background wearing the number 12 jersey, that I have at home. I think its a Sam Vincent card or something.
