SWISS SKYWALKER

If you are a Bulls fan, or you got a chance to see Thabo play a little last year, you know Thabo can do one thing for sure, and that is play lock down defense on the opposing teams best player. Last year, Coach Skiles threw him into the fray vs some amazing offensive threats, two that particularly come to mind for me are Kobe and Dwade. We are talking about two of the rawest ballers in the world, and Thabo definitely held his own vs both, suffocating them with his athleticism and long arms. Keep in mind that he was only a rookie at that time as well, so talk about a baptism by fire.

Anyways, Thabo will be seeing a lot more pt this year, especially if he can get some consistency on his j, which I read is something he has worked on all summer. Now one thing about Thabo I did not know or see much of last year, was that he could DUNK! Now when I say dunk, I don't mean a fast break dunk or an oop, I mean DUNK, like a pike on someones head that gets the team and crowd hyped. Well, I was just messing around on youtube tonight, when I found some rowdy Thabo dunk videos. These videos are pretty tight, so I had to post them. Here are some of my favorites, so enjoy...

I sure hope he'll get a lot of playing time as SG because he can really help the Bulls get to the next level. He can play defense as well as Bowen and Prince. Some people say he has no offense, that's not true. He has much better offense than Bowen. Although he may not have a consistent J yet, he can score in a variety of ways. His current offense skills are also better than Prince in 2004. Look how important Prince was to help the Pistons won that championship by shutting down the opposing elite SGs.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Bulls fan but I don't think it's fair to say Thabo can stop Kobe.

Kobe takes him one-on-one here and embarrasses him.

Hey Ryan, thanks for the clip, that was great. I am a huge Kobe fan as well, so I love to see these highlights, just not vs the Bullies, haha.
Trust me though, I don't think Thabo is on that level yet, especially vs Kobe, but I went to the Lakers game last year, and Thabo definitely held his own for the duration of the game. He did a good job frustrating him a few times because of his length, and for him going up against Kobe as a rookie, he did a pretty good job. That is what I meant by my post.
I'm definitely excited to see what he can do this year, thanks for the comment.

Those dunks all suck! I've seen kids in high school throw down nicer dunks. Can I have 2 minutes of my life back now?
