SOME DAILY BULLETS

I know I haven't posted these in a while, but I found some good ones, here goes...

• BusinessWeek ran a great article yesterday talking about the NBA and how it is trying to financially capitalize in China. Check it out if you get a chance.
  

• Ever wonder what happens to a losing team's championship hats and shirts? For example, what exactly happened to all those thousands of Bears Super Bowl Champs shirts from last year?? I always just thought they were just put on sale for $5 bucks with the Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler jerseys you see at Marshalls. I was wrong, they usually end up burning them. Well, that was until recently. One humanitarian group came up with a great idea for what to do with all that clothing, and it is pretty amazing. This story is a must read.
  

• Ricky "Buckets" Davis and Fat "Toine" Walker were traded for each other today in a five player deal. You have to feel for Fat Walker, because as my buddy Suman pointed out to me, he has quite possibly had the worst year in the League. He got robbed at gunpoint in his north side condo in Chicago over the summer. They took some loot and jewelry. He got really fat, so fat that Coach Riley even publicly said that "he got fat". He went from playing with Shaq and DWADE and winning a title, to Minnesota with the youngest team in the League. And lastly, he went from what might be the best party city in the country, to Minnesota, what might be the most boring city in the country. Hahah, poor Fat Walker.

• This is non sports related, but in case you missed what happened on the Bill Mahr show last week, you should definitely check out this entry. My boy Mac G does a good job writing about the topic as well.
  
• GM's around the league are predicting the Spurs to win the title, and Lebron as MVP.

• Extra Mustard and The Big Lead posted this video today, and it's hilarious. The crazy thing is, I don't know how Sam restrained himself from sticking this kid. The Gollum question would have been it for me, it would have been LIGHTS OUT!
